The slower Florida summer months generate an increase in area unemployment which means a busy time for our Parish Outreach Ministry. Please be sure to remember the poor boxes at the doors of the church. These monies are used by our St.Vincent de Paul Society and our Outreach Ministries to help local people who may be unemployed or who had their work hours cut get through these lean months. |

O Lord, grant us that love which can never die, which will
enkindle our lamps but not extinguish them, so
that they may shine us and bring light to others.
Most dear Saviour, enkindle our lamps
that they may shine forever in your temple.
May we recieve unquenchable light from you
so that our darkness will be illuminated and
the darkness of the world will be made less. Amen. |
